In addition to my global experience, I’m also deeply rooted here in Nanaimo. My real estate development company, Carey Real Estate Holdings, has won two consecutive Building of the Year awards for projects like 10 Church St (the Hullo Ferries building) and 223 Commercial St (the REW Building, where our current offices are located). I also hold a significant portfolio of residential real estate in the area.
We are passionate about our community and give back in major ways, such as being the largest donor for Volunteer Nanaimo’s Christmas Angels program and contributing significantly to the Nanaimo Hospital Foundation, Boys and Girls Club, and many other charitable organizations.
