Lantzville is home to a popular waterfront park, Seabold Rotary, as well as Huddlestone Park, a popular area for impromptu sports matches, leisurely walks, and sunny picnics. Seabold Rotary Park is located to the east, closer to Nanaimo, while Huddlestone Park is found just off Lantzville Road in the north.

Lantville’s location right along the coast means you’re never too far away from the water. However, the gorgeous forested hills south of the community appeal to passionate nature-lovers—and walking or hiking in the Lantzville area will reward you with cinematic ocean views!
Along the coast you’ll find Huddlestone Beach at Huddlestone Park, which is accessed via Bayview Road. While not a huge beach, visitors and residents alike enjoy its peaceful atmosphere, and find it a great place to walk along the shore (with or without a furry friend!) or spend time with family.
Just south of Lantzville is the Copley Ridge Recreation Area. Hikers will enjoy the beautiful 8.4 km forest trail that features a waterfall and wildlife. If hiking or walking is not your activity of choice, the Winchelsea View Golf Course is a popular alternative.
In the heart of Lantzville, along Lantzville Road, you will find many of the area’s local shops and restaurants, including Lantzville Village Pub and Camas.
