Top Hammond Bay Attractions & Amenities

While Neck Point Park and Pipers Lagoon Park are quite popular with both residents and locals from surrounding communities, Hammond Bay also has a number of lesser-known parks and green spaces that also offer that feeling of escape. Along the shore, there are several lookout points, Wellington Pump Station Park and Rocky Point 1 Park being notable. These view points typically have a bench or an area to walk around, but aren't very large. Regardless, they provide some exceptional views of the water from a great vantage point.

Neighbourhood playgrounds and green spaces are also found throughout the Hammond Bay community. Perfect for the kids to hang around at or a nice space to take the dog for a walk, these areas include Westhaven Park, Westdale/Leslie Park, Harry Whipper Park, and Roxanne Park. Walley Creek Trail is also a nice escape through the community's forested area.

Hammond Bay is a neighbourhood that is primarily residential. It is home to one school, Frank J Ney Elementary School, and is a great option for families. Residents often walk around the community in the evenings, and it's only a short drive away to shops, restaurants, and other businesses.
