Top Qualicum Beach Highlights & Amenities

The tight-knit community of Qualicum Beach hosts numerous events, many of which take place at The Old School House Arts Center (TOSH): a historic building and landmark in the town. This includes workshops, classes, exhibitions, camps, and more. The Village Theatre, originally a movie theater, is now a center for the performing arts. Events in Qualicum Beach include Beach Day, the Brant Wildlife Festival, Ocean Mile Swim, and the Uptown Summer Market. 

Other community highlights include the Qualicum Beach Museum, Heritage Forest (a large park located in the center of the town), and Milner Gardens and Woodland (a green area and botanical garden). Heritage Forest is a popular urban escape, and offers easy walking trails through the area woods. Trail can be found off of Hemsworth Road, Crescent Road East, and Chester Road.

The highway runs right along the beach, and there is parking available just off the road, although it is limited. There are also some restaurants right on the waterfront. The beach itself is not a large one, but many enjoy walking along the shore or the waterfront trail to experience the scenic views. There are benches located all along the trail, and the trail itself is stroller and dog-friendly.
