Errington Real Estate
With its characteristic tall, mature trees and substantial farmland, the Errington community attracts buyers who are interested in a more rural property. Homes in Errington tend to back onto or be located near large forests, which provide exceptional privacy and scenic ambiance.
The Errington real estate market comprises a greater range of properties than one might think. Single-family homes consist of older cottages and luxury estates, with architecture than ranges from traditional ranches and cabins to more contemporary builds. New homes for sale in Errington are also popping up, especially in the northern end, which provides an excellent opportunity for families and first-time homebuyers to purchase a more affordable, new construction property.
Custom, luxury homes, complete with ample acreage and high-end finishes, are also a popular home style in the Errington area.
Errington Lifestyle
At a prime location between the mountains and the coast, Errington offers a lifestyle that's perfect for nature-lovers who want to get away from city life. Errington has quiet streets, many of which are small, gravel roads, that are lined with tall, sweeping pine trees. Residents love the privacy and security that this small community provides—a nice alternative to the nearby neighbours and sounds of traffic that are common features of the big city.
Despite being a smaller community, there are several points of interest in Errington. There are several campgrounds/RV parks/rental cottages for summer vacationers. For full-time residents, however, Errington is home to Errington War Memorial Hall, a concert hall that frequently hosts events and puts on performances. This is right next to the old fire hall, and also the location of the Errington Farmer's Market, which is hosted every Saturday during May through September, and even has special themes. Errington also celebrates festivals, such as Hi Neighbour Day and the Greater Errington Zucchini Race.

At 97-hectares in size, this provincial park showcases two large waterfalls (divided into the upper and lower falls), camping areas, hiking trails through the forest, and even swimming. To the north is Englishman River Regional Park, which is smaller in size, but has beautiful trails around the river and a suspension bridge.
Other area highlights include the lookout point on Little Mountain, which provides unparalleled views of the forest and snow-capped mountains beyond. Errington is also the site of the North Island Wildlife Recovery Centre, which is a non-profit organization dedicated to rehabilitating and helping preserve local wildlife. Currently, they are home to a number of animals, including a bald eagle, various owl species (barn owls, snowy owls, barred owls, and more), ravens, turkey vultures, and a black bear named Rae.
